Everyone who's even remotely interested in ASLSK should read Jay Richardson's excellent series of tutorials. He's done a HUGE service for folks here...it took a lot of time and effort to produce these, I'm sure.

Snatch up the latest version of VASL, and play along...or better yet, actually get out the map and push the counters around. Either way, you'll gain a tremendous insight into the game system.
